GIANTS UPSET PACKERS! GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!

The New York Giants completed the Wild Card sweep, winning three road playoff games to advance to Super Bowl in XLII. The Giants beat the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field 23-20 in overtime. Packers QB Brett Favre threw an interception on their first possession in overtime that lead to the Lawrence Tynes field goal to win the game. Tynes had missed a field goal at the end of regulation that would have won the game. The Packers won the coin toss before Favre threw his second interception. Giants QB Eli Manning had an effective game passing, hitting his favorite target Plaxico Burress 11 times for 154 yards. This is the 2nd time in 3 years that a Wild Card team has gone on the road to win 3 games and advance to the Super Bowl, repeating the Steelers feet from Super Bowl XL. The Giants take on the New England Patriots who they faced and nearly beat the last game of the regular season.
