Terrell Owens Hurts Ankle, Cowboys Lead at Half

In the 2nd game in 3 days on the NFL Network, a Pro-Bowl Player has gone to the lockerroom early with a leg injury. Terrell Owens was tackled on a pass play at about the five yard line and his ankle got caught underneath him. Owens was taken back and x-rays were taken. His Agent Drew Rosenhaus met him as he came out of the X-Ray room and walked him back to the lockerroom. The Cowboys lead the Panthers 17-7 at halftime. According to the NFL Network, Owens is out for the night and doctors will take a look at him tomorrow. X-Rays look to be negative and that is a positive.

Marty May Follow Bobby In Atlanta

Their are reports that former Chiefs and Chargers coach Marty Schottenheimer may take over in Atlanta for Bobby Petrino who ran away like a whiny school girl to take over in Arkansas, was that where he went? Why the hell would you go to offense to my good friend Al, but oh...this isn't about Petrino...its about Schottenheimer. Marty was 14-2 with the Chargers last season and is going to be a hot commodity, especially after the way the Chargers started out the season under Norv Turner. Also in the rumor mill is that Chargers assistant GM Buddy Nix may be hired away to take over for the Falcons in the GM role. Look for something to get done before New Year's so that Marty doesn't get away like Bill Parcells did.

Kevin Everett To Walk Onto Field Sunday

Injured TE Kevin Everett of the Buffalo Bills is expected to speak to his teammates and walk onto the field Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, NY. Everett was injured in the first game of the season against the Denver Broncos on a kickoff when he lowered his head and hurt his spine. The trainers gave Everett an ice-water treatment on the field that they had practiced in the weeks leading up to the season. That treatment is credited with allowing Everett to make a quick recovery and possibly saving his life. Though the Bills are out of the playoff chase, look for them to hang strong with the Giants and look for the appearance of Kevin Everett to infuse the crowd with even more passion and encourage the Bills' players even more. What a great story this is and we can only hope that Everett will even play football again soon.

Willie Parker Out For Season

The Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowl Running Back Willie Parker is out for the remainder of the season with a fractured fibula. He broke his leg on the second play from scrimmage in Thursday Nights game against the St. Louis Rams. Najeh Davenport has picked up most of the rushing duties and is expected to carry the load through the rest of the regular season and the playoffs. This will have a big impact on Parker's contract as he was expected to receive a bonus for leading the league in rushing. This will also likely put Fred Taylor into the Pro Bowl in February.

The NFL released the Pro Bowl Rosters for the 2007 season, and the big surprise is the late Sean Taylor being named in the NFC. This is an honor he deserved and must bring a lot of joy to both his family and the Washington Redskins faithful. In the NFC, Brett Favre got the nod over Tony Romo and Matt Hasselbeck for the starting QB Position. In the AFC, Ben Roethlisberger made the AFC squad while, surprise, Tom Brady is the Starter at QB and Peyton Manning is the other reserve. At RB in the AFC, the undrafted Willie Parker was named to the Pro Bowl, solidifying his place as one of the top RB's in the NFL. Check out the whole list below.

AP TOP 25 Mens Basketball, Syracuse Orange Update!

The AP Top 25 NCAA Men's Basketball Poll is out for December 17, 2007 and not much has changed, in fact the Top 15 teams are exactly the same as last week. The 3 newcomers to the poll are Miami (FL), West Virginia, and USC. Of course the favorite team of Mud Free Sports is the Orange of Syracuse who had a big time set back on Saturday as Guard Eric Devendorf is out for the year, joining Andy Rautins on the P.U.P. list. This means that Syracuse could go to an Junior to run the point. Walk-On Justin Thomas may see more playing time or maybe they go to a lineup with Scoop Jardine in the lineup.

Is Jessica Simpson Causing Tony Romo Problems?

We all know that Jessica is prettier than she is smart, but after ruining her former husband's singing career she is now starting to drag down her Quarterback boyfriend, Dallas Cowboy's Tony Romo. In today's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Romo threw 3 interceptions as Jessica sat in a sky box with her creepy Dad. Maybe guys around her are so busy making up for her lack of intelligence that they lose a little bit of their own. This can only hurt the Cowboys going into the playoffs and his teammates must stand up and say something now. Maybe she's attractive, but her stupidity is hanging on him like a bucket of KFC hanging on a fat woman. Cut her loose Tony, for the sake of your playoff hopes! Or get her pregnant and move on like Tom Brady has done in the past! For more on the Entertainment view on these two:

Dolphins Win, Cowboys Lose!

The Miami Dolphins finally won a game, as they beat the Baltimore Ravens 22-16 in overtime, while the Dallas Cowboys lost to the hapless Philadelphia Eagles, 10-6. In the Dolphins game, Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith came into the game for an injured Kyle Boller and led the Ravens on a scoring drive that tied the game up, but the Dolphins scored in overtime as Greg Camarillo took a 64 Yd pass from Cleo Lemon across the middle and the team celebrated, Owner Wayne Huizenga cried and cheerleaders asked, "what just happened?" In the Eagles game, Brian Westbrook could have put the Eagles up 17-6 with just over 2 minutes left in the game, instead he had the presence of mind to take a knee at the one yard line. The Cowboys were out of timeouts and the Eagles were able to down the ball 3 times after the 2 minute warning.
