NFL WEEK 13 Power Rankings!

Week 13 is upon us and this should be a real week of separation among the top 10 teams in the NFL. The two big matchups are the Colts vs. Jaguars and the Packers vs. the Cowboys and they should each help shape the playoff picture in the AFC and NFC, respectively. Here is Mud Free Sports view of the Top 10 NFL Power Rankings.

  • 10. NY Giants - WOW...they suck! Not really...just hoping my Giant fans that are buddies read this. Lots of talk in NY on WFAN about whether Eli is the one to blame completely or if the coaches need to take blame for plays getting in late. I think they have some soul searching to do and changes to make in order to compete going into the playoffs.
  • 9.Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Now up to 3 wins in a row and with Gruden as their coach, they could cause some serious problems in the NFC. Look out for the BUCS!
  • 8. Seattle Seahawks - Good comeback against the Rams. The Rams. Ok...I am just not totally sold on this team. But they are in the NFC and will most likely win the West. Could be a repeat of 2 years ago.
  • 7. Pittsburgh Steelers - The Steelers won on Monday Night on a crappy field. Yeah! Not impressive. Big Ben is playing well and will get better as we get closer to the playoffs. Hopefully a game against the Bengals on Sunday Night will cure the Steelers ill.
  • 6.Cleveland Browns - The Browns are in this position only because they are a team of destiny and the Steelers are too inconsistent. The Browns have the easiest schedule the rest of the way and could overtake the Steelers for 1st in the AFC North.
  • 5. Jacksonville Jaguars - The Jaguars get to prove their toughness this week against the Colts. This will be a great race for 2nd place in the AFC and first place in the AFC South. The Jaguars should come in strong against the injured Colts.
  • 4. Indianapolis Colts - The Colts still maintain this spot, but face a tough Jacksonville team this weekend and could be on the downward slide. Peyton needs to step up and play like Peyton and not Eli in order to maintain their position in the playoffs.
  • 2.(Tie) Green Bay Packers - Well, like in the Patriots game vs. the Colts, we had them going into the game tied, and we'll let the teams settle the tie on the field. Packers are for real people!
  • 2.(Tie) Dallas Cowboys - The Cowboys were a nice diversion from that 4th helping of stuffing that most of you were going after on Thanksgiving. They will be a nice diversion for the dozen or so people who have NFL Network when they face the Packers. Should be a great game, maybe time to take the family to Buffalo Wild Wings.
  • 1. New England Patriots - The sign of a great team is to survive a close game and pull out the win. They did that against the Eagles and now have back to back games against AFC North foes, the Ravens in Baltimore and then the Steelers at home. This will be the best chance to suffer any loss...but will still be the #1 team if they lose one game.
