JUST LIKE OLD TIMES...LAKERS AND CELTICS WIN!

Just like the days of Magic and Bird, all eyes are on the Celtics and Lakers these days. With Kobe Bryant on the verge of being traded...maybe. And with the arrival of superstar Kevin Garnett, the Lakers and Celtics are the talk of the NBA once again. This summer was awful for the league after a dismal showing in the NBA Finals by the Cleveland Cavaliers and then with the report and arrest of NBA Veteran official Tim Donaghy in the gambling case. The whole Kobe situation looked like it could cause some problems for the Lakers, but they went into Phoenix and beat the Suns on Friday 119-98. Kobe finished with 16 and Suns Guard Steve Nash had 19. In Boston, the Celtics beat the Wizards with their best magic, Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 28 points while Garnett added 22 points. Wizards Guard Gilbert Arenas had 21 points but was only 5-20 from the field. I will be honest, I am a fringe NBA Fan...but to see these two teams take the limelight once again makes me want to watch. Lets hope Kobe stays in LA.
