BARRY BONDS INDICTED, FACES UP TO 30 YEARS IN PRISON!

Home Run king Barry Bonds, most recently of the San Francisco Giants, has been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury on Thursday. "During the criminal investigation, evidence was obtained including positive tests for the presence of anabolic steroids and other performance enhancing substances for Bonds and other athletes," the indictment read. Bonds was indicted on charges of Perjury and obstruction of justice, charged with lying when he told the grand jury that he did not knowingly take performance enhancing drugs. Even former Texas Rangers owner, and oh yeah current President, George Bush weighed in on the matter through his spokesperson. "The president is very disappointed to hear this," Bush spokesman Tony Fratto said. "As this case is now in the criminal justice system, we will refrain from any further specific comments about it. But clearly this is a sad day for baseball." Bonds is the current Home Run King, but also a free agent. I am guessing he won't get signed. This may be the one situation that can make Alex Rodriguez look like a good guy.
