ARKANSAS UPSETS #1 LSU 50-48 IN 3 OVERTIMES!

The Arkansas Razorbacks did to LSU what most teams in the Top Ten have had done to them all year, they took them out of the BCS championship with an upset. What started with Appalachian State in week one against Michigan continued today as Arkansas ended LSU's dream of a National Championship with a 50-48 win at Baton Rouge in 3 Overtimes. LSU scored in the 3rd overtime, but as the rules state, had to go for a 2 point conversion which was intercepted in the end zone. Heisman Trophy Candidate Darren McFadden ran for 3 touchdowns, 205 yards, and threw for another touchdown as he made a strong case for the Heisman in this one game. This is the second loss for the LSU Tigers in 3 overtimes, they lost to Kentucky earlier this season. This now opens up the BCS Title game to a number of teams. This also makes the Kansas/Missouri game Saturday night even larger than before. This will also make the decision for Les Miles possibly leaving for Michigan a lot easier for LSU fans to take.
