Red Sox WIN the WORLD SERIES!!

The Boston Red Sox swept the Colorado Rockies 4-0 to win their 2nd World Series in 4 years! The Red Sox hammered the 21-1 record right out of the Rockies. I don't think the layoff had anything to do with how bad the Rockies got beat, except maybe in the first game. The Red Sox had great hitting and pitching throughout the 4 games and leading up to the Series. "They beat us with small ball. They beat us with the long ball," Colorado's LaTroy Hawkins said. This team was down 3-1 to the Indians and still had the fight to come back and prove their worth. Mike Lowell was named World Series MVP, not bad for a guy that was the throw in player on the Josh Beckett trade. It hurts to say this as a Yankee fan, but Congrats all you Red Sox fanatics, you deserve it. I think it just makes the Yankees vs. Red Sox rivalry even greater!
