Preseason Top 25 Men's Basketball Poll

The new 2007-2008 College Mens Basketball was released by ESPN/USAToday today. Mine is Syracuse, and with a great recruiting class and some starters returning from their, ahem, NIT team from last year, hopes are strong around the 'Cuse that can make us forget about the football team and do something great in the Big East.

This top 25 is such a popularity contest. some of these teams in the top25 have lost almost all of their players. For others, some deserve to be higher up and we will see what happens when the season starts.

All these preseason polls are popularity contests. They are based on history and last year's performance, not what they will do this year...Who is your team?

your the man! Syracuse is your team and that's where I'm from, even though I live in Daytona Beach! I've loved the 'Cuse all my life and they got snubbed last year. Boeheim will have the young ones ready again like in 2002-2003 when we went from unranked to #1! We are unranked again!!! GO CUSE!!!

Well I hope to keep you well informed on the 'Cuse over the next year...Did you see Demetris Nichols signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers? Pretty cool.
